On November 9th our church joined with thousands of churches around the nation in honoring our local heroes and the greatest hero of all Jesus Christ, at a special "Honor Our Heroes Service."

Webster defines a hero as, "A person of distinguished valor or enterprise in danger, or fortitude in suffering:  a prominent or central personage in any remarkable action or event;  hence, a great or illustrious person."

    During this special service, pictured below, we honored all kinds of special heroes including:  educators, mentors, medical personnel, firefighters, law enforcement officers, military personnel and their families, veterans and volunteers.  Many local dignitaries joined us in honoring these heroes.  God Bless all who participated!
